Biography

Prof. C. C. Z. Akaolisa holds a B.Sc (Second Class Upper Division) in Mathematics from the University of Jos in 1991. He obtained his M.Sc and PhD in Applied Geophysics from Ahmadu-Bello University Zaria in 1997 and 2006 respectively. Prof. C. C. Z. Akaolisa is a Member American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG), Nigerian Institute of Physics (NIP), Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society (NMGS), Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG), Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE), Council of Mining Engineers and Geoscientist (COMEG). Some of his research work include; Analysis and Interpretation of Gongola Basin Gravity Data. (Done for SNEPCO), Integrated Geophysical Study of a Suspected Kimberlite pipe at Kafur, Malumfashi Area of North-West Nigeria, A Detailed Gravity Investigation of the Kwello Anomaly in the North Central Area of Nigeria, High-Resolution Refraction Seismic Tomography Technique in Investigation of Earth Dam. etc.
