MSc Degree Programme Description
The ACE-FUELS MSc programmes are designed as 18-month intensive full-time courses. Students in the programme spend a 12-month period of learning and research on campus and proceed for compulsory 6 months internship with any of the Center’s several industry partners.
MSc Admission Requirements
The minimum admission requirement of the ACE-FUELS MSc programmes is a Second-Class Honours degree (Upper Division) in a relevant Science or Engineering discipline from a Nigerian university or an equivalent qualification from Universities outside Nigeria.

PhD Degree Programme Description
The ACE-FUELS PhD programmes are designed as 36-month intensive full-time courses. Students in the programme spend a 30-month period of learning and research on campus and a 6-month internship period with a relevant industry partner.
PhD Admission Requirements
The minimum admission requirement for the PhD programmes is a master’s degree in a relevant Science or Engineering discipline, performed at a high standard with substantial research component; or an equivalent qualification that demonstrates research experience and excellence. In addition, the applicant must demonstrate a strong interest in research, development and innovation in science and technology, as well as the ability to work optimally and independently in an international multidisciplinary environment.
English Language Support Programme (ELSP)
All programmes in ACE-FUELS shall be run in English language. English language appreciation courses are available under the ELSP for Regional/International students who do not speak English as first language.
