Biography

 

Mrs Chikezie Comfort was born in Aba, Abia State of Nigeria. She attended Golf Course Primary School Aba in 1983, Girls’ High School, Ogbor-Hill Aba Abia State Nigeria. She obtained her Bachelor of Agriculture (B.Agric) in Agricultural Economics and Extension from the University of Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria in 1998, a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree and the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Agricultural Economics (agricultural resource and environmental economics) from Federal University of Technology, Owerri Imo State Nigeria in 2008 and 2018 respectively. She has Research interests in Resource Use, Climate Change and Environment. She works in the Department of Agricultural Economics, Federal University of Technology, Owerri Nigeria as Lecturer II and she has several kinds of research Paper. This includes Size Distribution of Income among Rice Based Farming Households in the South-Earthen States of Nigeria, International Journal of Agricultural Management and Development 1(1),2011; Rate of Information Communication Technology (ICT) Use: Its Determinants among Livestock Farmers in Ukwa East, Abia State of Nigeria, Universal Research publications URP journals, 2012 and Profitability of Garri Processing in Owerri North Local Government Area of Imo State ARPN Journal of Science and Technology 2 (4) May 2012. Dr Chikezie is a member of several professional associations including the Nigerian Association of Agricultural Economists and the Agricultural Society of Nigeria. She is married to Mr Chikezie Arisa.
