Responsibilities:

  1. The representative of the Registrar in the Unit.
  2. Assist the Director of AP&D Unit in the general administration of the Unit.
  3. Assist the Unit in collecting vital information for planning, liaison with Departments and other Units within the University to ensure the availability of required information.
  4. Secretaryship of the management and general staff meeting of the Unit.
  5. Assist the Unit to ensure adequate preparation and successful resource verification and accreditation of Academic Programme at the University.
  6. Assist the Unit in submitting returns of general statistical data to NUC and other bodies.
  7. Assist in advising the Unit on issues relating to planning and drawing attention to problems needing resolution.
  8. Assist in the production of Quarterly and Annual Report of the University.
  9. Assist in preparing the staff duty schedule and annual leave roaster of the Unit.
  10. Assist the Director in initiating plan and action in other to ensure the realization of the overall mandate of the Unit.
  11. Assist the Director to ensure that University laws and regulations are strictly implemented in the Unit.
  12. Offer counselling service whenever the need arises to nurture good staff relationship, the building of team spirit to create a conducive working environment for effective job performance leading to the realization of the overall University goal.
  13. Assist Unit in annual staff appraisal and recommendations for promotion.
  14. Providing other appropriate administrative services to the Director and other staff of the Unit.
  15. Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
