Centre for Research and International Development (CRID)
The Centre for Research, Innovation and Development (CRID), was approved by the Senate of the University on the 27th March 2012 during the tenure of the 6th Substantive Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Chigozie C. Asiabaka. Prof. Fredoline O. Anunobi was appointed as the 1st Director (2012 – 2015) to oversee and co-ordinate the affairs of the Centre. Since then, the Centre has been headed by Prof. Emeka E. Oguzie (2015 – 2017), Prof. I. J. Ogoke (2017 – 2018), and Engr. Prof. N. V. Ogueke (2018 – date).
To provide accurate information for decision making and support for grant applications, networking with funders, monitoring and evaluation of funded Research activities and general research management activities.
