Biography

Engr. Mrs. E. E. Atimati, received her B. Eng degree Electrical and Electronic Engineering, from the University of Benin, Benin City and a Masters in Communication Engineering, from Federal  University of Technology Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria in 2007 and 2012 respectively. She currently works as a Lecturer in the Federal University of Technology Owerri, and is pursuing her PhD degree in communication engineering at the University of Strathclyde, UK. Her research interest is in conducting purposeful research in wireless communication that can have a direct positive impact on her immediate community. She has great passion in grooming young engineers for the future and has worked corporately and personally towards encouraging young girls to achieve their hidden potentials. She has several technical publications and some gender related publications.  She’s happily married with children.
