Biography

Engr. Dr A.N. Nwachukwu is a lecturer I in the Department of Petroleum Engineering, Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO), Imo State, Nigeria. She obtained her B.Eng. and M.Eng. degrees from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri and PhD degree partly from the African University of Science and Technology, Abuja before transferring to FUTO for the completion of the PhD degree.  All degrees are in Petroleum Engineering. Dr Nwachukwu has taught various Petroleum Engineering courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Her research interests include Reservoir Engineering, Production Engineering & Flow Assurance, and recently Artificial Intelligence. She is currently the Research Assistant to Prof. Godwin A. Chukwu, Professor Emeritus, University of Alaska, USA who is the lead researcher for the Oil and Gas Research Grant of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund, (PTDF) on a Research Project titled “Evaluation of Wax Deposition during Production of Crude Oil in an Identified Niger Delta Waxy Oil Field”. She is in charge of the Laboratory of Excellence for Flow Assurance Research Studies in the Department of Petroleum Engineering, Federal University of Technology, Owerri.
