Biography

Engr Dr Martin Uzodinma Obidiegwu, a Reader in the Department of Polymer and Textile Engineering is a native of Azia in Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State. He is married and blessed with three lovely children. He is an Alumni of the Federal University of Technology Owerri where he completed his B.Eng., M.Sc and PhD in Polymer and Textile Engineering. He is competent, self-motivated with high initiative, focused with good interpersonal relationship. He is always eager to contribute his own quota to the actualization of set objectives in his team/organization, which has helped him serve as the Head of Department Polymer and Textile Engineering from 2014-2016. He goes by the golden rule “Do unto others as you’ll have them do unto you” and believes in the principle that hard work pays. He enjoys spending time with his family and relaxes while watching a good game of football.
