Dr. Mrs. Maryann Osuji is an accomplished expert in the Agribusiness Department known for a prolific research record resulting in peer-reviewed and outreach publications. With a dedication to excellence in teaching, including online and hybrid formats, She inspires and prepare students for success. Serving as the University’s coordinator for Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) and internship program in the prestigious Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO). Her Unit liaises with industries, government agencies, and stakeholders to secure valuable placement opportunities for students.

Dr Mrs. Maryann Osuji, oversees the generation of placement and master forms, ensuring compliance with Industrial Training Fund (ITF) and Nigerian Universities Commission (NUC) regulations. They are committed to protecting students’ rights and fostering a supportive learning environment during industrial Training and internships. Beyond administration, Dr. Osuji contributes to curriculum development, integrating industry feedback to enhance students’ educational experiences. With a Ph.D. from Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, she brings her wealth of expertise to the role. Dr Mrs. Maryann Osuji’s scholarly contributions span areas of Agricultural Marketing, Agribusiness, Food security, Value chain, Poverty studies and Sustainable Agriculture reflecting her commitment to academic excellence. She is well  respected among her peers and students for her passion and dedication.
