Biography

Anyiam, Kelechi Henry hails from Okoroejimoge Okohia autonomous community in Isiekenesi, Ideato South Local Government Area of Imo State, Nigeria. He attended Central School 6 for his primary education, Isiekenesi High School for his secondary education where he came out as the overall best student during his set.

Kelechi is currently a PhD student of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike(MOUAU) in Abia State, Nigeria. He holds masters of science degree (M.Sc.) of Agricultural Economics in Farm Management and Production Economics from Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, B.Agric Tech in Agricultural Economics, Federal University of Technology Owerri, Imo State, National Diploma in Electrical Electronic Engineering, Lagos State Polytechnic, Ikorodu Lagos and Diploma in Computer Engineering, Florintech, Computer College, Lagos, Nigeria.

He joined the services of the Federal University of Technology Owerri as a Graduate Assistant in March 8, 2019, and later upgraded to an Assistant Lecturer in 2020 after completion of his M.Sc. degree. His research interests are in Farm Management, Production Economics, Resource and Environmental, Agricultural Marketing, Agricultural Value Chain, Farmland Value, Food Security, Income Distribution etc.

He is a registered member of Nigeria Association of Agricultural Economics, Young African Leadership Initiative. He is a member of the Watchman Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement and is married with three children.
