Biography

A native of Umuchimanwere Obazu Mbieri in Mbaitoli Local Government of Imo state by marriage, Cynthia Onyinyechi Obinna-Nwandikom(Nee Anyika) was born on the 2nd of August ,1986 to the family of Dr Leonard Chukwuemeka Anyika and Mrs Felicia Nma Anyika(Nee Nwaeme) from Ubahumonum Okija in Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra state. Cynthia had her early education at Futo Staff School, Owerri(1991-1996),followed by a secondary education at Girls Secondary School, Owerri(1996-2002).

 

In 2003, Cynthia Obinna-Nwandikom secured admission into to the Federal University of Technology Owerri to study Agricultural Economics. Following her graduation in 2008, she was awarded the degree of Bachelor of Agricultural Technology in Agricultural Economics(with Second Class Honors). She proceeded to Yola, Adamawa State for her National Youth Service(2009/2010) and shortly after, she gained at admission into Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka for postgraduate studies. She studied between 2012 to 2016 to bag an M.Sc in Cooperative Economics and Management.

 

Cynthia has previously worked for corporate organizations such as Mobile Telecommunications Network(MTN) Nigeria and iclean.ng. She is now employed as an Assistant Lecturer in the department of Agricultural Economics in Federal University of Technology, Owerri.
