Biography

 

Egbuawa, Irene Ogechi Graduated from Imo State University Owerri, Nigeria, B.Sc. in Geography (1999), M.Sc. in Geography and Environmental Management(2012) and Ph.D. in view  in Geography and Environmental management from Imo State University, Owerri, Nigeria. Egbuawa, Irene is presently a Lecturer I with the Department of Environmental management, Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Nigeria. She is a member of various National professional bodies including Association of Nigerian Geographers(ANG), Nigerian Environmental Society(NES), Organization of Women in Science for the Developing World(OWSD), and Nigerian Association of Hydrological Sciences(NAHS). She has successfully supervised several undergraduate projects. Her research interests are Environmental management, Climate change, Environmental sustainability, waste management, water resource management, urban planning and watershed management. She is devoted Christian.
