ADVERTISEMENT FOR ADMISSION INTO NEW PROGRAMMES IN THE SCHOOL OF BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES (SOBS) & COMPUTING INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (SCIT)
This is to inform the general public that the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) will commence the admission of candidates into the under listed NEW PROGRAMMES during the 2019/2020 SUPPLEMENTARY ADMISSIONS:
SCHOOL OF BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES (SOBS)
- Forensic Science
SCHOOL OF COMPUTING AND INFORMATION TECH (SCIT)
- Cyber Security
- Information Technology
- Software Engineering
All interested candidates who chose FUTO as First Choice University in the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored a minimum of 180 can apply. Those who did not choose FUTO as first choice University but scored a minimum of 180 can also apply on the condition that they visit the JAMB website for a change of Institution.
Eligible candidates must register for the Post-UTME Screening Exercise which has commenced from Friday, June 21, 2019, and would close on Friday, July 26, 2019, at a processing fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2, 000.00)
The Aptitude Test will hold from Monday, July 29 – Saturday, August 3, 2019, while the specific time and date for individual candidates would be communicated in due course. (visit FUTO website for details)
- For Forensic Science, the UTME subject combination of English Language, Chemistry, Biology, Physics / Mathematics is applicable. This is in addition to possessing at least five (5) O’Level credit passes in Mathematics, English language, Chemistry, Physics and Biology in not more than two(2) sittings.
- For Cyber Security, Information Technology and Software Engineering, the UTME subject combination of Mathematics, English Language, Chemistry and Physics would apply in addition to possessing at least five (5) O’Level credit passes in Mathematics, English language, Chemistry, Physics and any other Science subject in not more than two(2) sittings.
