Biography

Engr. Reginald Ekene Ogu joined the Department of Software Engineering as an Assistant Lecturer. He holds a B. Eng degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Also, he has a Master of Engineering Degree in Electronic Engineering. Currently, he is a PhD student. He derives joy in bridging the gap between the theoretical and practical aspects of teaching and learning. His research interests are in the areas of Embedded Systems, IoT, Cloud Computing, Web Development and Management.

Professionally, he is a registered Engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN). He is an active member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Currently, he is the Webmaster for the IEEE Nigeria Section and IEEE Africa Council. Also, he is an Ambassador for IEEE Smart Village (ISV).
