Biography

Professor C. E. Nwanyanwu was born at Afikpo in the present-day Ebonyi State of Nigeria. He obtained his B.Sc in Applied Microbiology from Anambra State University of Technology (ASUT) now Nnamdi Azikiwe University (NAU) Awka, Anambra State Nigeria in 1990. He also obtained his M.Sc and PhD in Microbiology from the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State of Nigeria in 2000 and 2011 respectively. He specialized in Industrial and Environmental Microbiology with an emphasis in ecotoxicology. He joined Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) in 2002. He is presently the Head of Department, Microbiology. He is blessed with three lovely children.
