Prof. Florentus Nwabugo Nnadi, Chairman Anti-Corruption and Transparency Monitoring Unit (ACTU), Federal University of Technology, Owerri, is a Professor of Agricultural Extension Administration. He had his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Degree in 2007, from Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Master of Science (M.Sc) Degree from the University of Ibadan, 1991 and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Degree from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in 1989. He also obtained his Nigeria Certificate of Education (NCE) in 1987 from Alvan Ikoku College of Education, Owerri in Crop/Soil and Animal Science Education.

He was the Acting Head, Department of Agricultural Extension, FUTO, from 2009-2014 as well as the Co-ordinator, Students’ Industrial Work Experience Scheme of the School of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology (SAAT), 2008-2009 and the Chairman, SAAT, Extortion Committee 2018 till date. He is currently one of the SAAT Postgraduate School Board representatives.

Prof. F. N. Nnadi is a member of several academic and professional bodies. These include Agricultural Extension Society of Nigeria (AESON), Rural Sociological Association, Organic Agricultural Project in Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria (OAPTIN), Agricultural Society of Nigeria (ASN), among others.

 With a wide range of experience accumulated through several years of teaching, research and administration acquired from the university system and College of Agriculture, Umuagwo, Imo State, he has over 100 articles in referred Journals, more than 45 articles in Conference Proceedings/Book Chapters and 4 Textbooks to his credit. His research foci are on Rural Development, Food Security and Poverty Reduction. He has served in many World Bank and International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) consultancy teams like Fadama II and III, Erosion and Watershed Management, Gender Transport, etc. He is a member, Board of Directors, Programme of Action for Health and Rural Development (PAHRD), a non-governmental organization (NGO) based in Nigeria and serves as the editor of several reputable academic journals within and outside Nigeria.

A Christian by birth from Imo State, Prof. F. N. Nnadi is married to Dabs and the marriage is blessed with 5 children. His hobbies are reading and watching football.
