Biography

 

Prof. G. F. Okorafor is a Professor of Project Management and a University of Bradford, the UK trained Project and National Development specialist. His areas of special interests are Human Resources Management, Strategic Management and Development Planning. He is a Fellow of the Charted Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (FCIPM) and an active member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) of the United States of America. Prof. Okorafor is a very active member of the Nigerian Association of Project Management Professionals as well as other allied professional bodies. He is a consultant to some national organizations and has published widely in both national and international journals. He has authored some books in the field of project management. He is equally a public speaker and has delivered papers at both national and local conferences.Prof Okorafor is both a novelist and a poet with a good number of finished works awaiting publication. He plays active parts in both religious and cultural organizations. Currently, he is an editorial board member of a zonal newspaper and a guest writer to a professional publication. He has instituted an annual prize to the best Project Management graduating student at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri. He is happily married to a contented family. Prof Okorafor is an avid lover of football games.
