Biography

HE ATTENDED PRIMARY SCHOOL AT CENTRAL SCHOOL, AMAINYI, SECONDARY SCHOOL AT MADONNA HIGH SCHOOL, IHITTE, UNIVERSITY AT UNIVERSITY OF CALABAR (BSC 1976/1980), UNIVERSITY OF SHEFFIELD, ENGLAND (DIP. MET. AND M MET., 1982/1984). HAD SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS FROM IMO STATE GOVERNMENT TO OBTAIN FIRST DEGREE (1977), FEDERAL GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP TO OBTAIN DIPLOMA/MASTERS IN METALLURGY (1982/1984), AND IMO STATE UNIVERSITY STAFF FELLOWSHIP FOR PhD (1988). WAS H.O.D, CHEMISTRY AT ABIA STATE UNIVERSITY, UTURU (2002/2010) AND FUTO, OWERRI (2015/2019). CURRENTLY ON SABBATICAL LEAVE AT BENUE STATE UNIVERSITY, MAKURDI, NIGERIA. A FELLOW O9F THE THIRD WORLD ACADEMY OF SCIENCE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA (2000/2002).
