Biography

 

Prof. Chinedu Chidinma Nwachukwu is a Professor of Project Management Technology with specialization in Real Estate Project Management. He is a lecturer in the Department of Project Management Technology, Federal University of Technology, Owerri. He made Second Class Upper division degree from the Department of Estate Management, Enugu State University of Science and Technology, Enugu. He joined FUTO as an assistant lecturer in 2001 and in 2016 became a professor, a rare record in academics. He obtained his M.Sc and PhD Project Management Technology degrees from the department of Project Management Technology, Federal University of Technology, Owerri.  He is a registered Estate Surveyor and Valuer (RSV), an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and valuers (ANIVS), a member of Project Management Institute (PMI), a fellow of the Institute of Corporate Resource Management (FCRMI). Former Head,  Department of Project Management Technology, FUTO. Estate Officer between 1994 and 2001 in Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education Owerri. He has teaching and professional experience as a lecturer from the following institutions. Department of Project Management Technology, Federal University of Technology, Owerri. Department of Estate Management, Imo State University, Owerri( Visiting Adjunct Professor). Department of Estate Management, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (sabbatical leave 2012/2013) Visiting Adjunct Professor. Department of  Estate  Management, Enugu State University of Science and Technology, Enugu (Sabbatical leave 2017/2018) Visiting Adjunct Professor.  He is the main anchor of Project Management Programme in ESUT Business School Enugu. He has supervised and graduated many undergraduate, M.Sc and PhD students in FUTO and in other Universities in Nigeria and abroad.
