RESEARCH INTERESTS

My primary research interests are the use of comparative and functional genomics to understand bacterial diversity, cellular and molecular mechanisms of bacterial pathogenesis and antibiotics resistance, study host-pathogen interactions, identify vaccine candidates and drug targets to cure infectious diseases.

RESEARCH SUPERVISION

I have supervised more than 30 undergraduates and postgraduate students at Madonna University Elele, Imo State University Owerri and the Federal University of Technology Owerri on different Honours Research Project Topics.
