My research areas include Tissue Engineering and Biomaterials, Cancer research, nanotechnology, bioinformatics, medical imaging techniques and 3D bioprinting of human organs and tissues. I am a strong advocate of S.T.E.M education for the girl child and also interested in mentorship. I am a member of the Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technologists (NISLT), Nigeria Association of Biomedical Engineers and Technologists (NABET), and Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine International Society (TERMIS). I have served as the Executive Secretary of the LOC for the 1st international conference/workshop of Society for Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine in Nigeria (STERMN). My aim is to one day bridge the gap between patients and organ donors through bioprinting of organs for transplantation, and to produce medical devices that will repair/replace diseased organs and tissues. I love to cook, tutor, travel and listen to music.
