Mrs Amadi Chinyere Caroline
Mrs Amadi Chinyere Caroline is a Lecturer (II) at the
Department of Geology, School of Physical Sciences.
Amadi Chinyere Caroline holds a BSc (Hons.) in Geology from the University of Port-Harcourt (2003). And an MSc in Environmental Geology from the same university (2008). She is currently a full-time PhD student in Environmental Geology at the Federal University of Technology Owerri. Before joining the Department of Geology, the Federal University of Technology Owerri in 2014 as an Assistant Lecturer, she has worked as a Trainee Geologist at the Well Engineering Department of Shell Petroleum Development Company in Port-Harcourt (2004-2005) and has worked as an HSE Officer/Adviser/Coordinator in various companies. She currently lecturers about three undergraduate courses in addition to her administrative duties at the department.
Mrs Amadi Chinyere Caroline has attended several professional pieces of training and workshops amongst which is the NEBOSH International Gen. Certificate, NEBOSH UK (2009). She is a member of both academic and religious societies.
Mrs Amadi’s research interests lie in water quality assessment, geologic hazards, erosion and flood control. She will welcome any research proposal in these areas of interest.
