FUTO Receives IT Equipment from Interswitch in Collaboration with Cisco

The Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) was recently selected as one of the beneficiaries of the Interswitch Equipment Donation Drive, an initiative launched in partnership with Cisco Networking Academy to enhance IT education in Nigerian tertiary institutions.

Equipment Donated

As part of the donation, FUTO received:

• ✅ 1 Router
• ✅ 1 Firewall
• ✅ 4 Switches
• ✅ 2 Servers

The donated equipment, which consisted of fully functional IT devices, was provided to support STEM education and IT skill development. Interswitch, a leading African financial technology company, emphasized that the initiative aligned with its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy to empower students with the necessary technology for academic and professional growth.
