The two NUC accreditation teams that visited the University for the sole aim of accreditation of Department of Building and Architecture had in their visits and in their interactions with the University Management commended the University for the resources and facilities provided for the programmes and also highlighted areas that required improvement.

The teams which had Professor M. Abdulkarim as the team head for Architectural Department and Prof. Aina Omotayo who paid a courtesy visit on arrival to the Vice-Chancellor headed the team for accreditation of the Building Department arrived the Institution on Thursday, May 2, 2019, and Friday, May 3, 2019, respectively.

It would be recalled that the NUC accreditation visit to the two Departments was put-off last year. The disengagement was not unconnected with the nationwide ASUU strike from November 4, 2018, to February 11, 2019.
