Commencement of FUTO 2026/2027 JUPEB Admission

The Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) Office of the Director, Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) announces the commencement of the 2026/2027 FUTO Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) Foundation School Programme.

The one-year JUPEB Foundation School (JFS) Programme prepares candidates for Direct Entry Admission into FUTO and other Nigerian and Foreign Institutions.

Eligibility Requirements

• General Requirements: Candidates must possess five (5) O' Level Credit passes in SSCE/NECO/NABTEB at a maximum of two (2) sittings. This must include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and other relevant subjects to the candidates' desired course of study.
• MBBS Programme: Candidates for the MBBS programme must have at least 5 O'Level Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology at ONE SITTING.
• Note: No Awaiting Results allowed.

Method of Application

• Application Form: Log on to www.futo.edu.ng and access "Prospective Students". Click on JUPEB Application and apply online.
• Important Notice: Candidates are advised to follow the Application Instructions very carefully. Ensure you select the correct SUBJECT COMBINATIONS and that your name matches exactly as it appears on your NIN slip. Failure to do so may adversely affect your candidacy.
• JAMB Registration: All Candidates are required to register for 2027 JAMB Direct Entry at the appropriate time.
• Application Fee: ₦ 25,000.00 via Remita.
