Biography

Chinyere Caroline Amadiholds a BSc (Hons.) in Geology from the University of Port-Harcourt (2003), and  MSc in Environmental Geology from the same university (2008).

She is currently a full-time PhD student in Environmental Geology at the Federal University of Technology Owerri. Her current research work interfaces Environmental and Engineering Geology which is centred on waste recycling/beneficiation. A key target of her research is to recycle waste (CFA) from burning of coal in stabilizing expansive soils used for construction work.  This would mitigate problems from improper waste disposal which has several impacts on various Environmental receptors and also minimizes effects of damages on roads caused by swelling soils.
